After the February 24, 2026, Town Hall meeting, here is the summary email and questionnaire that was sent to the congregation.
At the Town Hall Meeting on February 24, 2026:
During the townhall meeting on February 24, 2026, we discussed the recommendation for the consistory and the facilities team to proceed with option 3 for replacing the gathering area glass roof with new vertical glass and low-slope roof. This option would match the north side entrance and would reduce costs and wear and tear on our HVAC system. A vote was requested for this recommendation and approved at the March 8, 2026 consistory meeting to move forward.
We also reviewed the list of facilities concerns that were previously shared and our desire to come up with a solution that would address these issues in order to advance our vision of being a Forming and Sending community. The areas of our facility that were address include the leak from the north patio into the downstairs pre-school classroom, north parking lot, south parking lot, youth room remodel, nursery renovation, sanctuary/narthex renovation, technology upgrades, basement remodel, and multi-purpose flooring.
This next phase is about a casting a vision around the future of our building so that we can effectively live out our vision for ministry.
